Context
There are two properties within each Contact that are the most important for the integration: the Mobile Phone Number
and the SMS Opted-out
properties, which are used by the integration to know the recipient of the SMS, and to check if they can be targeted or not by the Send Mass SMS Workflow.
These properties are (most likely) not easy to locate when you first start using the integration, and you want them to be readily available to facilitate how you use True Dialog’s integration.
How To
⚙️ This change will affect the creation card for Contacts you create in the future!
Within HubSpot:
1. Hover over Contacts, and click on Contacts in the horizontal menu
2. Click on “Create contact” on the top right-hand corner of the screen
3. If the properties mentioned above are not available on the Contact creation card, click on “Edit this form”
4. Use the “Add fields” and look for Mobile Phone Number, then toggle the checkbox
5. Repeat step 4 for the SMS Opted-out property
6. The properties will be available at the bottom of the Create Contact example
7. (Optional) If you hover over the fields, you can drag-and-drop the cards with the properties to change the order of appearance of the properties
8. Click the “Save” button at the top right-hand side of the screen
9. Click on “Back”, at the top left-hand side of the screen
10. If you go back to the Contacts page and try to create a new contact, you’ll see the properties are now available as you fill in the Contact’s information
