Context

For integrating TrueDialog on HubSpot, it is required that the HubSpot User is able to see a log of SMS sent and received from a native interface within HubSpot. This was done through the Notes on the Activities interface. Every time a Contact receives an SMS sent from HubSpot or sends an SMS to the User, a Note will be created on that Contact’s Activity.

Points of Attention

If a Contact is duplicated within HubSpot, the Notes will always and only appear on the first instance of that Contact that was created.

How To

Within HubSpot:

1. Select Contacts on the horizontal menu, and you will be taken to the list of Contacts

2. Select a Contact by clicking on their name

3. Once within the Contact’s profile page, you will see a tab that reads “Activities” on the up-left corner of the center of the screen

4. Click on Activities, and you will see the SMS that have been sent through the Send SMS feature and that have been received from the Contact
