Creating Survey Campaigns (formerly Dialog Campaigns)
- Click Send Messages>Campaigns in the navigation menu
- Click Create Campaign >Survey
- Assign Campaign Name - for internal purposes only.
- Advanced Settings - (Optional) If no changes are needed, skip to 6

- Language – If language setting enabled, you can create multiple versions of message to be delivered based on language setting
- Subscription will default, for those with multiple subscriptions please select desired subscription base.
- Single Use – This allows end-user to receive campaign one time only. An option for secondary message will appear after next step. Please note, do not set to single use until testing is complete.

- Click Next.
DIALOG CAMPAIGN QUESTIONS
Select initial question types include Yes/No, Multiple Choice or Open Response. Message flow can be single/multiple questions, going as deep and as wide as you desire. Meaning you can have a simple question, response and final message or you can follow up a response with another question or even initiate a call center conversation. Each response can have its own follow-up cadence.
Please note that each question is limited to 160 characters (including multiple choice options).
*Yes/No
- Enter your initial message (campaign) of the dialog, blue check mark signifies copy under the 160 Character limit. You can also choose to include dynamic content within question.
- (Optional)You can choose to store responses within selected attribute on contact record.
- To edit default Final Message, click “Message” box to open msg editor.
Best practice is to include opt out instructions within message flow (i.e. TxtSTOPtoEnd) - Follow up actions include the previous follow ups, new question, new final msg or start chat(send to text inbox)
- Click Next to review and test campaign.
*Multiple Choice
- Enter your initial message (campaign) of the dialog. The blue check mark signifies you are under the 160 Character limit.
- (Optional)You can choose to store responses within selected attribute on contact record.
- Edit your multiple-choice answers that will be included in the message (campaign). You can add additional answers, but total character count should remain under 160 characters.
- If you wish to store the multiple-choice answers with a different value, you can create value here (Optional)
- To edit default Final Message, click on final message box and text message box will appear.

- Click Next to review and test campaign.
*Open Response
- Enter your initial message (campaign) of the dialog. The blue check mark signifies you are under the 160 Character limit.
- (Optional)You can choose to store responses within selected attribute on contact record.
- You can insert validation for responses here (Optional)
- To edit default Final Message, click on final message box and text message box will appear.

- Click Next to review and test campaign.
Note – It is strongly recommended that you test all campaigns prior to making live. To test campaigns:
- Select the Check to test campaign
- Select Channel – Be sure to test using same channel you intend to send message from. Long Code and 10-digit phone number are the same.
- Contacts - Enter test phone number(s), enter phone number and hit enter to add additional numbers.
- Click submit to save and send test campaign.
